The Ateneo de Naga University Press was established in 2005 through University Memo No. 562 issued by the University President. It operates as an auxiliary unit reporting directly to the University President. Its daily operations are managed by the University Press Director.

The functions of the University Press are:

To publish materials useful for the Ateneo community, the Bikol region and the world, particularly those that shall nurture, preserve and promote Bikol’s culture and heritage;

To sustain the University Press by ensuring commercial viability of the published materials;

To encourage the Ateneo community in particular and the Bikolanos in general to write and publish their works.
